A tribute, an evening of music and a long moment of a night, to reaffirm that the art of Franco Battiato it is something destined to stay. ‘Travel invitation ‘, a real event with fifty-three artists struggling with the songs of Battiato, who died last May 18, was staged this evening by an Arena in Verona (sold out with a covid capacity of six thousand people) which spoke the many languages of music, united by poetry and story, by the Sicilian singer-songwriter.
Still, not everything seems to have gone well. To the bathroom and Vittorio Sgarbi were in fact booed as soon as they got on stage. The art critic did not take it well and, speaking into the microphone, he said: «I greet my sister and that is enough for me, and to those who insult me I say ‘be happy’». Scabri has then immediately abandoned the scene. Al Bano, on the other hand, seemed more embarrassed.
