The No Vax and No Green Pass gathering
The deniers had gathered for a first meeting at the Pantheon, organized as part of the national No Green Pass events in 120 Italian cities, which are now usually held every Saturday afternoon. Then the group of demonstrators, including several far-right exponents, with Castellino, began to parade through the streets of the center, moving in dribs and drabs to reach another demonstration in Piazza Santi Apostoli.
Once they arrived, however, at Piazza Venezia, the demonstrators were stopped by the State Police in riot gear, which was watching over the procession. At this point there were shoves and scuffles and an object was thrown, probably a bottle. In recent days, Castellino had already been the recipient of a five-year sports Daspo issued by the Rome Police Headquarters, linked to the no green pass events in which he had previously participated. For example, we read in the note from the Rome police headquarters, to those in Piazza del Popolo on 24 July, 14 and 28 August.
