Goodbye to password and username to access the tax portals
At midnight on September 30, the usernames and passwords to access Fisconline will cease to function. This was foreseen by the Simplification Decree, which established that starting from the first day of October, citizens’ access to the online services of the Revenue Agency and the Revenue-Collection Agency can only take place with the Spid, the electronic identity card (Cie ) or with the National Service Charter (Cns). These recognition systems will make it possible to use all the telematic services of the Tax Authority which, in the first 8 months of the year, recorded over 44 million accesses to the tax drawer (+ 32.5%), more than 1 million lease and 2 million public deeds registered online, as well as 400,000 documents sent through the Civis service. To these numbers must be added the 4 million accesses, registered in the same period, to the reserved area of the Revenue-Collection Agency. A universe of services that over the years has been enriched with new opportunities for citizens, who on more and more occasions can communicate with the tax authorities directly from their home PC. Nothing changes for now for professionals and companies who will be able to continue using their current credentials. So let’s see what ordinary citizens need to know to take advantage of the online services of the Tax Authority.
