Denise Pipitone did she land in Tunisia? This is the umpteenth hypothesis on the 4-year-old girl who disappeared from Mazara del Vallo in 2004. Italian stories, the program conducted by Eleonora Daniele on Rai 1. Among the various theories on this still unsolved case there is also the one according to which the little girl was forced to get on a ship that made the Trapani-Tunis route, and then landed in Tunisia.
During the broadcast, in particular, there was talk of some witnesses who at the time saw a child, probably male, with an unknown identity, who jumped to the eye during boarding because he was dressed heavily, with a sweatshirt with the Hood. Today it is believed that that child could be Denise. The correspondent of the program, then, tried to understand if the rules now in force on boarding in that port have always been the same. The workers present there made it clear that earlier it was much easier for a minor to embark. The documents, until 2012, were requested only from adults, while a child could simply get on accompanied, without an identity card.
Only in 2012 did the procedure change: now each ticket has a name and surname. In 2004, therefore, Denise’s identity may have been easily concealed. The track was taken into consideration after the discovery of a ticket with printed on it some initials that could be Denise’s. In any case, there are still many doubts to be resolved.
