The German multinational Thyssenkrupp has announced the sale of Acciai Speciali Terni (Ast) to the Arvedi group. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2022. Thyssenkrupp will examine a possible minority stake in the new Ast group which should be led by the Cremonese entrepreneur Giovanni Arvedi. The transaction is subject to the approval of Thyssenkrupp’s supervisory board and the authorization of the European antitrust authority.
