Austria is back in the grip of the coronavirus emergency and scares the rest of Europe. In the last 24 hours, the country has registered 2198 new Covid infections and currently 822 people are hospitalized, of which 202 in intensive care. The latest issue triggered “Level 1” of the restrictions provided by the government led by Sebastian Kurz, with the reintroduction of the obligation to wear a Ffp2 mask in shops, public transport, museums and libraries for the unvaccinated and only a recommendation for those who is immunized (in the country 63.5% have at least one dose, while 60% have completed their cycle).
