This is one of the novelties of the decree approved by Parliament on 15 September: salivary swabs, less invasive than nasopharyngeal ones, will also be valid for the Covid 19 green certification. From 1 September to 31 December all school staff are required to show the Green pass in order to access the school.
An amendment to the decree on the green certificate provides for the validity of salivary tests, which after being approved by the House, was also approved by the Senate.
In addition to vaccination, a swab every 48 hours, and recovery from Covid, teachers and ATAs will therefore also be able to access school with a salivary test.
If in doubt at the moment, the type or types of salivary that can be used, but on which clarifications could come from the government.
Salivary tests can in fact be molecular and antigenic (rapid): the antigenic (do-it-yourself or to be carried out in a pharmacy), while the molecular must be carried out in the laboratory.
