After Brexit and with the tough fight against Covid still open, Boris Johnson try a change of pace. The British premier has fielded a reshuffle of toilet replacing four ministers. Change roles too Dominic Raab, the Foreign Minister and negotiator of the exit from theEuropean Union: In order not to give the hello to a longtime friend, Johnson moved him to the Justice. In her place, in one of three crucial positions for the executive, the 46-year-old Liz Truss. In August Rahab had been overwhelmed by controversy for staying in holiday in Crete, while he was supposed to manage the army’s exit from Acceptance. Not only that: once reached on the phone, he refused to contact her Afghan counterpart, entrusting the task to a deputy. The diplomatic phone call, however, is not never happened. A fool added to the humiliation of the defeat in a twenty-year war, in which the UK was the main partner of the Usa.
The British had clamored for his resignation, but were not completely satisfied: Raab was in fact only demoted with the less prestigious role of minister of Justice, only to be then also nominated to the catica Deputy Prime Minister. Among Johnson’s loyalists, the former head of British diplomacy had also been co-responsible for the chaos on Brexit and of controversial statements about the agreements made by Johnson himself. Now in his place will be the former minister of International trading, Liz Truss. 46 years and experiences in various departments – Education, Environment and Justice -, conservative and also a supporter of the current prime minister. His appointment however – he underlines Bbc – overturns the gender balance within the executive with all key roles held by women.
Thanks for “the important work done” is instead all that belongs to the former Minister of Education Gavin Williamson, another of Johnson’s men, much disputed for his school management during the pandemic. He had already been cautioned by Theresa May, who had then demoted him from the role of Minister of Defense, after numerous blunders, including the famous Huawei Leak, a leak of confidential information relating to the meeting of UK National Security Council. The other two ousted are Robert Jenrick e Robert Buckland, who had to leave the departments of local communities and justice respectively. He took over Michael Gove, a character known to the English tabloids for his frequentation of the nightclubs of the Scotland. These replacements follow that of June’s Matt Hancock with Sajid Javid – former opponent of the prime minister in the primaries of Tories – at the Health and should thus inaugurate a new season of government. However, some certainty remains: they keep their places Priti Patel, iron minister of the Interior, e Rishi Sunak Everyone Finances, considered the rising star of the British right and possible pretender to 10 Downing Street.
