The Asti Spumante and Moscato d’Asti Docg Consortium, after the success of last year, returns to tread the prestigious stage of the Milan Wine Week, the international event scheduled from 2 to 10 October, which intercepts trends and needs of consumers and is proposed through educational activities and tastings dedicated to the national and international public, as well as an opportunity to restart for the catering sector and an opportunity to meet with the managers of the sector to expand and update the importance of the denominations through the brands that represent.

Asti Spumante and Moscato d’Asti Docg will participate in guided tastings, organized in streaming and in presence by Palazzo Bovara, this will allow the consortium companies to talk live with United States, Canada, Asia (Tokyo and Shenzen), England and Russia, strategic foreign markets that in recent years have shown an ever greater appreciation for Piedmontese aromatic bubbles, produced in a generous and surprising land such as the Piedmontese one of Monferrato, Langhe and Roero, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014.

Virtual meetings, but also oversight of the metropolitan fabric, thanks to the presence of the Consortium in Wine District of the Arco della Pace – Sempione area with the involvement of wine bars and restaurants linked to the food and wine culture and trendy clubs for the iconic Milanese aperitif.

In particular, in the latter it will be possible to experience the original cocktails created by the flair bartender and bar specialist Giorgio Facchinetti based on Asti Spumante Moscato d’Asti.

The iconic one stands out above all Asti Signature, destined to become the new trendy aperitif, fresh, light, but with grit, made with Asti Dolce Docg, pink grapefruit, basil and Sichuan pepper. In the restaurants it will be possible to taste Piedmontese aromatic bubbles in purity to accompany the whole menu, from appetizers to first courses, from second courses to desserts, thanks to the wide range of variations of Asti Docg, from sweet to pas dosè and Moscato d ‘Asti.
