Martina Luoni, the young woman from Solaro (Milan), a cancer patient who was one of the Lombardy Region’s anti-Covid testimonials, died at the age of 27. Patient with metastatic colon cancer, she had seen a surgical operation postponed last year, in the midst of a pandemic. Story that he had described in a video that went viral in which he described the difficulties of accessing treatment by a cancer patient.

So much so that the Lombardy Region asked her to become a testimonial against covid to invite them to protect themselves and to follow the health rules, so as not to clog up the hospitals and guarantee treatment for cancer patients. His appeal had reached millions of people. On 28 May last she was awarded the ‘Rosa Camuna’ award by the Lombardy Region.
