A man left his Toyota Yaris on the beach and then went to sea. Spotted by the police, he got a hefty fine
On board an old woman Toyota Yaris, a man from the province of Sassari he has carelessly parked the car on the beach, near Fiume Santo on the morning of Sunday 12 September. He then got off and, as if nothing had happened (in the area there are many signs posted by the Municipality that signal the prohibition), he left aboard an inflatable boat, leaving the car parked on the sand. There was no lack of reports to the local police by passers-by and bathers, all quite incredulous in front of the scene.

The agents didn’t take long to reconstruct the facts and identify the owner of the car parked on the beach: despite the end of the bathing season, the command of the local police, in fact, constantly continued the surveillance checks on the Sassari coasts. For the man aboard the Yaris it did not go well: on the basis of the provisions of the navigation code and the 2021 regional and municipal bathing ordinances, he was given a fine that could exceed 600 euros.
