(ANSA) – MILAN, 12 SEPTEMBER – Milan is preparing for the start of school tomorrow, this time with 100% attendance. And to ensure that there will be no problems, even with public transport which, although strengthened, must keep the capacity reduced to 80%, the measures envisaged by the Pact for the city come into force, which include staggered timetables not only for lessons .
70% of the high school kids will enter before eight, 30% after 9:30. The shops will open at 10.15 with some exceptions such as tobacconists, pharmacies and groceries.
On the other hand, personal service shops such as hairdressers and beauticians will be able to open at 9:30.
The offices of the public administration will also be open from 9:30, preferably by appointment (this does not concern the meetings already scheduled). In the Municipality of Milan the funeral services, the registry office and the civil status will be open from 8:30 am.
Free public transport was also guaranteed to all the almost 300 children of the primary school in via Massaua, which closed last July, in the two new offices in via Scrosati while waiting for the new school in via Strozzi to be built. (HANDLE).
