Pellizzari, 61, found in his mother’s house after he fled. He is accused of the murder of Rita Amenze, 30 years younger than him
Pierangelo Pellizzari, 61, the man accused of killing his wife Rita Amenze, 30 years his junior, in Noventa Vicentina, was traced to his mother’s home and arrested. The man, who immediately after the events had lost his tracks, was taken to the barracks by the carabinieri to whom he did not resist.
Pellizzari was identified and blocked inside his mother’s house a few tens of meters from his home. The noises caused by the attempt to access the house alerted the carabinieri who monitored the hamlet in search of the fugitive. He was unarmed and did not resist.
The interrogation by the prosecutors is underway at the provincial command of the carabinieri.
