The Ministry of Health issued a circular in which it provided some clarifications on vaccination against the coronavirus. In the circular, signed by Giovanni Rezza, director general of prevention of the Ministry of Health, it is said that those who contract the coronavirus 14 days after the first dose of vaccine may not receive the second dose, “as the infection itself is to be considered equivalent at the administration of the second dose “.

The circular specifies, however, that the possible administration of a second dose is not contraindicated.
