Milan, from 10 September until Tuesday 14 Ascovilo (Associations Consorzi Tutela Vini Lombardi) and Grana Padano will be the protagonists of ‘Born to stay together’, a tasting event scheduled in Milan in the evocative setting of ‘Casa Nervesa’, in via Sirtori 26 (Porta Venezia area).
“A combination – explains the Councilor for Agriculture, Food and Green Systems of the Lombardy Region, present in Milan – to enhance the excellence of Lombard wines and Grana Padano, the most consumed PDO product in the world. Between the ‘Design week’ and the ‘Art week’, we aim to make our DOCG, DOC and IGT wines and our DOP and IGP cheeses even more popular “.
Inside a labyrinth with a particular atmosphere, guests will be able to follow an interactive path in which the bottles of wine and the forms of Grana Padano will be the real protagonists of the set-up. “All this – continues the regional councilor – with perfect combinations that will allow you to appreciate the characteristics of Lombard wines and the different aging periods of Grana Padano, a great classic of our table”.
Also present at ‘Casa Nervesa’ was the regional undersecretary to the Presidency with responsibility for relations with international delegations who wanted to underline how “exports are also a driving force of a market, that of the agri-food industry of excellence, which is increasingly strong and important”. “The wines of Lombardy and Grana Padano are the winning ambassadors – he concludes – of Made in Lombardy”.
