He devised and documented in detail with great accuracy his death in a car accident never happened in order to collect the life insurance policy. Using the documents of another accident, which occurred days before his brother, reported his death to the insurance company, falsifying all the required documents, including the death certificate.

The goal was to cash in on the policy opened 10 days before the bogus accident. The inquiries were triggered after the insurance company reported that, after having paid 90 thousand euros to the mother of the “dead” alive and well, she became suspicious of the woman’s additional requests.
