Free access. From today, Monday 6 September, and until next 12 September, children between the ages of 12 and 19 will be able to get the anti-covid vaccine without making an appointment and without pre-registering on the Post Office portal.
This was announced on Saturday morning by the Lombardy regional councilor for welfare, Letizia Moratti, who is increasingly intent on giving the decisive acceleration to the vaccination campaign. And it is no coincidence that the initiative will continue until 12, the day before returning to school.
“Just as we are one step away from reaching 14 million administrations, another important initiative concerning vaccinations for young people starts on Monday 6. A proposal designed to guarantee a safe return for the start of the new school year”, he wrote. the vice president of Pirellone. So until “Sunday 12 September” it will be possible “free access and without reservation to the covid vaccination centers for children aged 12-19”, Moratti underlined.
The children – recalled the welfare state – must present themselves with a health card and identity document, while minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The possibility of free access to vaccination centers also remains for the over 60s and for school staff – teachers or collaborators -, who must necessarily be in possession of the green pass in view of the return to school, under penalty of suspension on the fifth day of absence.
With the same objective of “covering” the schools, on Thursday 9 September in via Natta in Milan there will be a vaccination camper in front of the Artemisia Gentileschi and Gerolamo Cardàno institutes, from 8.30 to 16.00. “The Lombardy Region – Pirellone said in a statement – has the objective of guaranteeing the safe start of the school and training year 2021-2022. To this end, since the beginning of last August it has foreseen and are active preferential lanes dedicated to vaccination of the school and university population.
