Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings, the new Marvel movie belonging to Phase 4 of the MCU, totaled takings records in the USA during Labor Day, which in this case corresponds to the first weekend of screening.

Released in Italian cinemas on September 1, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings grossed in the United States 71.4 million dollars during the first three days and should reach 83.5 million by the fourth day.

This is the second highest debut gross since cinemas reopened after the lengthy quarantine. As for the box office worldwide, we are talking about 127.6 million dollars.

Based on the Marvel character of the same name created by Steve Englehart and Jim Starlin in 1973, with the intention of riding the wave of passion for martial arts films, Shang-Chi is grafted in an original and unexpected way within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
