The Design Week immediately comes to life, from the Supersalone to the events that animate the city. Here are our tips on things not to miss

Rho is entered with the green pass

the day of Supersalone
, open to the public until 10 September. There are 425 brands exhibiting, 179 young creatives, 39 makers, for a total of 1,900 projects in a linear path. Access is only possible with the green pass or the EU Digital Covid Certificate. But the whole city of Milan pleasantly invaded by installations, events, appointments. Here are five selected for you, for Sunday 5 September (here instead the focus on the Milan state road, where there are dozens of installations not to be missed)

Museum of Science and Technology

At the Trashformation Village by Rossana Orlandi the totems made by Pininfarina in its typical design: an air purifier and a water nebulizer, developed with Eco2 Zone for an Urban Lounge

Piazza S. Fedele

The famous Pratone di Gufram, created by Ceretti, Derossi & Rosso and present at the MoMA in New York, turns 50. To celebrate it, a giant version with 34 stems 5.30 meters high that form a labyrinth that visitors can walk through.

5 Life

The district near via Torino offers, among the various proposals, the creations of the ateliers of Zaventem, a town in Flanders that comes to Milan with a collective of young artists and designers (in the photo Flying Chair). To visit the district it is necessary to book (5vie.it)


In the former military hospital of Baggio (via Saint Bon), the Alcova duo Joseph Grima and Valentina Ciuffi occupy an abandoned building with a garden overrun by vegetation for an exhibition of objects created by independent designers
