There are 1,024 new cases of Covid in Sicily, 176 fewer than yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 14,242 tests were carried out, with the positivity rate still rising: from 6.5 to 7.1%.

Ten deaths reported by the Region: 4 date back to yesterday, 5 to Friday and one to Thursday. The daily healed are 837.

965 people are hospitalized in hospitals, the same number as yesterday, while in intensive care there are 120 (+3).

This is the detail of the new infected according to the provinces: 379 in Palermo, 158 in Syracuse, 139 in Catania, 107 in Ragusa, 88 in Caltanissetta, 70 in Trapani, 50 in Agrigento, 21 in Enna, 12 in Messina.

Throughout Italy there are 5,315 new positives. Yesterday there were 6,157. There are 49 victims in one day (yesterday 56). Performed 259,756 tests (331,350 yesterday), the positivity rate is 2% (yesterday 1.8%).

Since the beginning of the pandemic there have been 4,571,440 cases, 129,515 deaths. The discharged and healed are 4,305,223, with an increase of 5,602 compared to yesterday, while the current positives are 136,702, with a decrease of 337 cases in the last 24 hours.

572 patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 3 more than yesterday in the balance between income and expenses. Daily admissions are 37. Patients with symptoms in ordinary wards are 4,216 (12 more people than yesterday).
