Sony has released a teaser trailer to remind us of the appointment with the awaited PlayStation Showcase 2021, the event for PS5 and PS4 that will air next week.

The video in addition to reminding us of the date and time of the event, that is 22:00 on Thursday 9 September, unfortunately it does not offer any clues (or at least we and many others if there are we have not noticed them) regarding the possible announcements of the show, which as we know will last 40 minutes and will be dedicated to “games coming out this fall”. For sure we know that the new generation of PlayStation VR will be absent, which will probably have a dedicated appointment in the coming months.

As we have already discussed extensively in recent days, our hope (and that of many readers) is that the PlayStation Showcase 2021 will be the “event of concreteness” regarding the PS5 and PS4 line-up at the end of the year and in 2022. Obviously the presence of Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7 and God of War: Ragnarok would be appreciated by many players, but in hindsight the “wish list” with the most anticipated PS5 and PS4 games is long.

To further fuel the hype fire then we have thought about journalists and insiders, who in recent days have stated that during the event “super announcements” and news about God of War: Ragnarok, the new adventure of Kratos and Atreus could arrive. . All rumors to be confirmed, but in any case it is an unmissable event for all PS4 and PS5 players.

Obviously we of Multiplayer.it we will follow the PlayStation Showcase 2021 live with you on Twitch, translating and commenting everything in real time, so don’t miss it!
