There are 6,157 new coronavirus positives at 4.50 pm on Saturday 4 September and bring the total, since the beginning of the pandemic, to 4,566,126 (+ 0.13% day on day). The dead, in the last 24 hours, were 56 (+ 0.04%) so as to total 129,466 units from February to this part. The currently positives counted in Italy are 137,039 (+ 0.01%) and of these 4,204 hospitalized with symptoms (40 more day on day, + 0.96%) and 569 in intensive care (13 more, +2.33 %). The people subjected to home isolation are 132,266 (-0.02%). In the 24 hours there are then 6,086 between discharged and recovered. This is the picture that emerges following the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health, elaborated on the basis of 331,350 swabs carried out against 296,394 on Friday 3 September. The positivity rate drops to 1.8%, compared to 2.2% the previous day.

In Sicily 1,200 positives and 22 deaths

At the level of the individual regions, Sicily continues to be the one that records the highest number of daily cases: there are 1,200 with 22 deaths. There are 28,285 currently positive and of these 848 hospitalized with symptoms, 117 in intensive care and 27,320 in home isolation.

Veneto, 645 cases and five deaths

There are 645 new cases of Covid-19 recorded in the last 24 hours in Veneto and bring the total of infections to 457,620. Five, however, deaths, with the victims rising to 11,698. The data emerge from the regional Bulletin. The swabs carried out in the 24 hours are 49,072 of which 12,501 are molecular and 36,571 are antigenic, with an incidence of cases of 1.31%. The current positives drop to 12,966 (-113). Patients in hospitals are also decreasing, with 220 hospitalized in a non-critical area (-5) and 51 (-3) in intensive care. The third region for the number of daily infections is the Lombardy at an altitude of 577 compared to two deaths.

Emilia Romagna, 545 cases and one death

Since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, 414,052 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia Romagna, 545 more than on Friday, out of a total of 34,857 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of tampons made is 1.5 percent. There is a death in the province of Parma: it is an 89-year-old man. Since the start of the epidemic, there have been 13,376 deaths in the region. This can be seen from the bulletin of the Region, according to which the control and prevention activity continues: of the new infected, 189 are asymptomatic identified in the context of regional contact tracing and screening activities. There are 49 patients admitted to intensive care (number unchanged compared to the previous day), 396 those in the other Covid departments (+1).

In Tuscany 491 positives and one death

There are 491 more new positive cases in Tuscany which lead to 273,434 cases registered since the beginning of the pandemic. New cases are 0.2% more than the previous day’s total. The average age of the 491 new positives today for Tuscany is about 39 years. There is a new death: a 56-year-old man. The healed grew by 0.2% and reached 255,531 (93.5% of total cases). 8,243 molecular swabs and 11,199 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 2.5% were positive. On the other hand, 5,599 subjects were tested, of which 8.8% tested positive. The current positives are 10,875, + 0.3% compared to Friday. The people hospitalized in the beds dedicated to Covid patients are a total of 459 (3 more, plus 0.7%), 59 in intensive care (stable). In Campania, on the other hand, the new positives are 455 compared to two deaths.
