This morning the control room on Covid met and it was decided that the obligation of green pass for transport should start from 1 September, without advances in August as someone in the government hoped, so as to allow the organization of controls. Certification should be required for long-distance trains – High-speed, Intercity, with an increase in seats available for users (capacity rises to 80%) – and for non-regional ferries, and not for those traveling to within the same Region. According to government sources, this would be the orientation of the control room that met this morning at Palazzo Chigi. The Strait of Messina should also be excluded but a reflection is still ongoing. As for buses, the green pass should only be requested for journeys that cross at least two regions.
