Green Pass, Coldiretti: for 11 million stops in indoor restaurants
There are about 11 million Italians over the age of twelve who will be forced to give up sitting at the table in indoor bars and restaurants where only people who have had at least one vaccine administration, have recovered from Covid in the previous six months can find a place. they have a negative swab. This is what emerges from the analysis of Coldiretti released on the occasion of the entry into force of the obligation of the green pass for indoor restaurants, bars (but not at the counter), cinemas, theaters, museums, gyms, festivals, stadiums, congresses and large events.
The measure, Coldiretti underlines, affects about 360 thousand restaurants, trattorias, pizzerias, farmhouses, of which only a little more than half have outdoor spaces, where, however, the number of seats has significantly increased thanks to the flexibility granted on the use of public spaces. In particular, the businesses located in urban centers close between traffic and asphalt are in difficulty, while on the contrary the agritourisms enjoy the availability of large outdoor areas that make it possible to guarantee the best distances. Catering, Coldiretti points out, is among the sectors most affected by the pandemic, with a loss of 48% of turnover recorded in 2020, almost 41 billion euros in 2020.
