5:58 – Two blues in the final in the triple: Dallavalle and Ihemeje
Andrea Dallavalle and Emanuel Ihemeje obtained the seventh and ninth measure respectively in qualifying for the final of the triple jump. 4:26 am – New 18 Covid cases, infections rise to 299
There are 18 new cases of Covid-19 positivity found at the Olympics for a total that is approaching 300. Accredited persons for various reasons found positive from 1 July equal to 299. Among the new positives also a Greek swimmer whose positive test was announced yesterday by the Hellenic Olympic Committee.
3:45 am – Canoe disappointment
In the sprint canoe Francesca Genzo he finished the final of K1 200 meters in seventh place.
