Coronavirus data in Italy today, Monday 2 August

In the last 24 hours, 3,190 positive cases of coronavirus and 20 deaths due to COVID-19 have been detected in Italy. Currently there are 2,319 hospitalized (135 more than yesterday), of which 249 in the intensive care wards (19 more than yesterday) and 2,070 in the other wards (116 more than yesterday). 42,515 molecular swabs and 40,708 antigenic rapid tests were analyzed. The percentage of positive molecular swabs was 7.26 percent, while that of antigen tests was 0.25 percent. On Sunday, the infections recorded were 5,321 and the deaths 5.
The regions that have recorded more cases in the last 24 hours are Emilia-Romagna (560), Veneto (460), Tuscany (452), Lombardy (326), Lazio (292).
