The Prime Minister, Mario Draghi, phoned Gianmarco Tamberi and Marcell Jacobs (in the video the live call during an interview with the sprinter) and congratulated them for the historic Olympic gold medals in the high jump and in the hundred meters. The premier also spoke with the president of Coni, Giovanni Malagò, and invited the athletes to Palazzo Chigi, on their return from Tokyo, to celebrate their victories. “I am proud of you, I followed you.
