One of the most anticipated bikes of 2021 finally shows its shapes and reveals its details. We are talking about the Aprilia Tuareg 660, the last chapter (perhaps) of the Noale twin-cylinder trilogy, which thus closes the circle of Aprilia innovations for 2021, opened with the RS 660 and continued with the Thunder 660.
The video that Aprilia has launched on the social pages reveals not only the lines, but also the numbers: the engine is the now well-known 660 cc twin-cylinder front-speed unit, which unloads to the ground on the Tuareg 80 CV and a maximum torque of 70 Nm. The declared dry weight is 187 kg and the tank has a capacity of 18 liters. Electronics also sees its debut on the crossover of the APRC platform with 4 riding modes and electronic aids based on the capabilities of the bike, such as the switchable ABS. On the bridge instead, the TFT screen already seen on Tuono and RS peeps out.
Unlike the other mediums from Noale which sport a double aluminum beam structure on the Aprilia Tuareg 660, a more suitable one for the category makes its debut trellis frame with aluminum reinforcement plates, same material as the swingarm. The suspensions are adjustable and with one real rally bike race: 240 mm.
Appearance was one of the great mysteries of Aprilia Tuareg 660, and in fact the official version of the bike differs from the first rumors circulated during the year. There is so much of the old Tuareg in the profile of the new crossover, which is mixed with the modernity of the front and the Full LED headlight assembly, which incorporates the light signature of RS 660 660.
Price and arrival on the market
For the moment Aprilia has not released any other details therefore it is not yet known when it will arrive at the dealership and what its price will be.
