According to reports from the Corriere della Sera, the magistrates of the Rome prosecutor’s office are in the process of examine the content of electronic devices seized from the manager Lucio Presta and his son Niccolò, under investigation for illegal financing together with Matteo Renzi. The prosecutors look for chats and e-mails exchanged with Renzi before the signing of the 700 thousand euro contracts received by the leader of Italia viva. The prosecution suspects that this figure was not justified by professional services but was used to give Renzi the money necessary to buy the villa where he now lives with his family. Investigators from the Guardia di Finanza copied the contents of all devices (five smartphones and five tablets and computers) seized on June 30th during the search in the Presta company, content that will now be analyzed by prosecutors precisely to verify the nature of the economic relations.
