Square Enix has announced two big news for Marvel’s Avengers. The first is that the expansion dedicated to Black Panther, called War for Wakanda, will be released next 17 august and will be introduced the day before by a new War Table. The second news is that this weekend the game will be free on PlayStation, PC and Stadia.
The expansion War for Wakanda is a free update that adds Black Panther, the third new playable superhero, two new villains, a new environment to explore, new enemies, the Birnin Zana Outpost, new Landing Zone and Dangerous Sector missions in single and multiplayer, and more again, introducing the most new Marvel’s Avengers content since the game’s release.
This new expansion will be introduced by a Marvel’s Avengers War Table that will be broadcast on Monday, August 16 at 7pm on the Crystal Dynamycs Twitch channel. The War Table will show what’s coming to War for Wakanda.
To celebrate the full access weekend will start tomorrow and run until August 1 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC (via Steam) and Stadia. At this juncture, several limited-time promotions will be available, including a 400% experience bonus, 50% discounts in the game store and the return of the Tachyon Anomaly event.
Anyone who wants to try the full game will just have to download it from their platform’s digital store. At the end of the full access period, players who purchase the game will be able to keep all game progress and purchases on the same platform they are using. Additionally, the game is currently 40% off. A similar opportunity to try Marvel’s Avengers for free will also be available on consoles Xbox in the next months.
