Mandatory Green Pass in Italy from 6 August, how to download it? How do you get it? With the surge in bookings for the vaccine, the date on which the rules set by the latest covid decree will come into force is approaching. The Green Pass will be used to access a series of activities, services and businesses.
On coronavirus vaccines “there was a very strong acceleration of bookings after the government announced the extension of the use of the Green Pass. The vaccination campaign in Italy is going well: we have exceeded 65 million doses administered, on 65 % of people who can be vaccinated have had a dose, 55% have completed the cycle. We must insist. The vaccine is the essential weapon to put these difficult months behind us, “Health Minister Roberto Speranza told Tg1.
To those who say that the Green Pass limits personal freedom, Speranza replied: “The opposite is true: vaccines are our weapon to regain freedom”. “The Green Pass – he explained – is a tool that allows us to make the places of socialization safer, the places where we will meet our friends and our families. So Green Pass and vaccines are two essential tools with which to close this season like this. difficult and try to open another one. We are freer if we are vaccinated “. Hence the appeal to all Italians to “continue to get vaccinated, because the vaccine is really the most important weapon we have if we want to open a different season”.
HOW TO GET THE GREEN PASS
After vaccination or a negative test or recovery from Covid-19, the certification is automatically issued in digital and printable format from the national platform.
When the certification is available, a message will be sent via text message or email to the contacts communicated at the time of the vaccine or test or when the certificate of recovery was issued; the message contains an authentication code (AUTHCODE) and short instructions to recover the certification.
Certification can be acquired from different channels independently: on the site https://www.dgc.gov.it/web/ with access via digital identity (Spid / Cie) or with a health card (or with an identity document if you are not registered with the National Health Service) in combination with the unique code received via email or text message; in the electronic health record; via the ‘Immuni’ App and soon on the IO App.
If you do not have digital tools, you can retrieve the certificate both in digital and paper version with the health card and with the help of an intermediary: general practitioner, pediatrician of free choice, pharmacist.
