The “No green pass” choir shouted by hundreds of demonstrators – which later became about 3,000 according to Digos – opened the protest demonstration in Piazza Castello, in Turin, against the restrictions decided, starting from next 6 August, for citizens who will be without the document that certifies adherence to the vaccination campaign.
“It would take a good tax strike, but done in compliance with the rules laid down by law – explains a lady to the small group that has immediately created around her – it is not a question of not paying taxes because we would become tax evaders. We must self-report a suspension of payments due to the limitations to our freedom ».

To protest there are families with children, pensioners, artisans, traders: most of the administration and catering sector. The tam tam ran throughout the day on Telegram, including the invitation not to talk to journalists – “report them and remove them” – and pay attention to the “infiltrators” who would only like to discredit the demonstration with violent actions. Among the participants, together with Worldwide rally for freedom, Torino Tricolore, Forza Nuova and CasaPound, also some exponents of the social centers.

For the “No Fear Day” last Thursday in Piazza Castello thousands of people had already gathered: five thousand according to the organizers, three thousand less according to the calculations of the Police Headquarters. Among the speakers also Professor Ugo Mattei, candidate for mayor for the October administrative elections in Turin and the lawyer Maurizio Giordano, who presented himself as a lawyer for No Vax doctors and who reiterated the concept that the “Green Pass is against European legislation”.
After the meeting in the square, the demonstrators moved towards via Po improvising a procession. After marching from piazza Castello to piazza Vittorio, the procession of demonstrators headed under the Turin headquarters of Rai chanting slogans against journalists, and then returned to piazza Castello from where it started and where it broke up.
