The Green Pass is experienced as an obligation and sometimes even as a nuisance. In the reality of everyday life, however, from 6 August, when it will become mandatory to exhibit it on many occasions, it will offer a series of advantages that are not connected only to the possibility of traveling. The latest benefit offered by the Vaccinal Card officially emerged yesterday afternoon when the Ministry of Health issued a statement to reiterate that Article 4 of the decree passed by the government on the Green Pass provides a big advantage: the possibility for the immunized to go to find relatives or friends hospitalized. This is a very important benefit if we consider that, up to now, hospitalization is in fact equivalent to a period of isolation for the sick or for those who have to undergo surgery. The Green Pass then serves to make it easier, or with more seats, to enjoy the shows in theaters and cinemas. reduce or increase the available seats for cinemas and theaters?

For cinemas and theaters, for example, the limits set for the white zone are greatly expanded, the maximum number of people present outdoors and 2,500 that of those present indoors is raised to an altitude of 5,000.
Same music for the stadiums too. For sporting events and competitions in the white zone, the permitted capacity increases to 50% of the maximum authorized outdoors and to 25% indoors. This means that a stadium with 50,000 seats will be able to accommodate 25,000 spectators, while a 10,000-seat sports hall will be able to accommodate 2,500 fans.

But the Vaccination Card could also have a positive effect for another very delicate sector: transport. As is known now – at least officially – buses and metro cannot carry 100% of passengers and are obliged to keep at least 50% of seats free. The same goes for trains, in particular for long-distance ones even if recently the FS have inaugurated some Covid Free carriages with mandatory buffer. For the moment, however, this is an intention, anticipated by the Undersecretary of Health Costa who announced the increase in capacity for local transport vehicles that will be authorized to allocate some carriages or some buses to only passengers with Green Passes.

If the Green Pass remains the passpartout for opening many doors, it is perhaps good to remember what it is exactly: in practice it is a digital and printable (paper) certification, which contains a two-dimensional barcode (QR Code) and a qualified electronic seal. . The Ministry of Health issues it through the Regions.
48 hours after the first dose of the vaccine (but sometimes even less), the Ministry of Health sends those who have vaccinated an email (or even a text message) to the email address indicated at the time of vaccination. The email explains that the Covid-19 green certification is available, obtainable for free using an indicated code. The code, the expiry date and the number of the health card of the holder of the certification must be entered. The Certification is also available on App IO (https://io.italia.it/): the holder of the Certification will receive the notification directly on the app, To get all the information on the Green pass just visit the website: www.dgc .gov.it.
