Google has just launched a new one doodle, called Doodle Champion Island Games, which is a Role playing game full-blown, with which you can spend more than an hour in joy. It is not the first time that a doodle offers videogame elements, but in this case we are beyond what we have seen so far.
Doodle Champion Island Games is a de facto homage to the age of 16-bit video games and Japanese culture. Obviously the initiative is linked to the Olympics, so much so that the game also offers a small glimpse of Japanese culture. On the other hand, the software house that made it, STUDIO4 ° C, comes from there.
In Doodle Champion Island Games they take on the role of the ninja cat Lucky who has a vital mission to accomplish: to win seven minigames for his team. The mini-games are inspired by the Olympic disciplines. There is a little bit of everything, from archery to table tennis and rugby.
Everything flows away quite easily, at least until you decide to unlock the ancillary contents. Then things get complicated there because you have to face the mini-games at more difficult levels and you can start wandering around the island coming to discover its deepest recesses, which are much more interesting than you can imagine at first glance.
In case you want to try Doodle Champion Island Games, the starting point, as always, is the main page of Google.
