An Olympic Village with almost zero emissions

Low-rise buildings that alternate with squares and pedestrian areas, but also shops, gardens and greenhouses: the Olympic Village project is designed to integrate in a lasting way with the district of the former airport. After the sporting event, in fact, Coma Sgr will deal with its conversion to student housing able to accommodate approx a thousand young people between free and facilitated residence.

But the peculiarity of the project, for which Manfredi Catella, CEO of Coima, spoke of a real “urban laboratory”, is the fact that it was designed for an almost zero impact conversion (defined with the acronym Nzeb). Furthermore, as already experienced with the Biblioteca degli Alberi di Porta Nuova, the entire neighborhood will be managed through a digital platform.
