The Local Health Authority of Bologna reopens reservations for anti-Covid vaccination for the population in the 20-59 age group and launches an appeal for immunization in the face of the spread of the Delta variant of the coronavirus.
The aim is to give “new impetus to the vaccination campaign, allowing coverage to be achieved in the autumn to prevent a possible new pandemic wave”. In recent days, some open days aimed at over 60s had not received the ‘success’ hoped for.
Therefore, for new bookings for 20-59 year olds, the first availability, specifies the Ausl, will be starting from 23 August at the vaccination hub of the Unipol Arena. In the coming days, based on the vaccine supplies communicated by the commissioner, a possible extension of the available places will be evaluated.
To date, according to data released by the same Bolognese health company, the people still unreserved and unvaccinated of the 20-59 year old target are 192,317 of which: 40,076 aged between 50-59 years, 51,345 aged between 40-49 years, 55,389 aged 30-39 years, 45,507 aged 20-29 years.
