Gimbe: in Sardinia + 202% infections, second after Molise
Sardinia is the Italian region in which, in the week from 7 to 13 July, Covid infections have grown the most, after Molise. The surge on the island is 202.7%, according to the latest monitoring of the Gimbe Foundation, published today, while in Molise the new cases have increased by 271.4%. The number of positives per 100,000 inhabitants in Sardinia has risen to 159, the highest in Italy, compared to an average of 68. The percentage of hospital beds in the medical area occupied by Covid patients remains very low, at 3%. .
