After seventeen weeks, the infections started to rise again in recent days. Today’s data actually show an improvement compared to yesterday, but the trend of the curve must be followed to understand the trend. In the last 24 hours the Lombardy has registered 95 new positives al coronavirus compared to 8,701 swabs carried out (yesterday were 250 new positives with 26,712 swabs). However, the positivity rate is growing (1%). The number of people admitted to intensive care decreased (-1, 36), but in line with the national trend, the number of people hospitalized with symptoms in the other wards increased (+4, 128 in total). There is a new death, for a total of 33,800 deaths in our region since the beginning of the pandemic.
As for the provincial data, Milan is the city with the most new cases (30), followed by Varese (13) Cremona (8), Brescia (7), Lodi (7), Bergamo (6), Pavia (3), Mantua (2), Como (2), Sondrio (0), Lecco (0), Monza and Brianza (0).
The vaccination campaign also in Brescia: according to the data reported on the Lombardy Region portal, there are 816,983 new first doses and 444,357 second doses. The percentage of people who received the first dose out of the total Brescia population is equal to 75,76%.
I’m 888 the positives to the test for Covid identified in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Yesterday there were 1,391. I am instead 13 the victims in one day, while yesterday there were 7. The molecular swabs were 73,571, against 143,332 yesterday. The positivity rate is 1.21%, up from 0.97% yesterday. There are 158 patients in intensive care, three fewer in the balance between income and expenses. But the hospitalized with symptoms in the ordinary wards, albeit slightly, return to rise: they are 1,149, an increase of 15 units compared to yesterday.
