I’m 205 the new positive cases al coronavirus in Lombardy, where today the number of people admitted to intensive care is increasing (+2). Against 35,138 swabs performed, the positivity rate is 0.58%, therefore it is confirmed substantially stable compared to the day of yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 3 deaths have been recorded, bringing the total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic to 33,795.

These are the new cases by province: in Milan 82, in Varese 24, in Brescia 15, in Pavia 13, in Cremona 12, in Lodi 9, in Mantua 7, in Bergamo 6, in Como 4, in Sondrio 1. No contagion in Lecco and Monza and Brianza.

The vaccines

The vaccine doses administered in Italy are 56.6 million in all. The citizens who received the second injection, therefore completed the vaccination cycle, are 22.9 million. In Lombardy, 10,020,755 doses were made (the increase in the last 24 hours is 115,211). In Brescia he is vaccinated with the first dose 75.49%, in detail were inoculated 813,985 doses and 425,866 second doses.
Speaking of the vaccination campaign, the president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen announced that by July member states will be able to vaccinate 70% of adults.

The contagion in Italy

In Italy there are 1,400 new cases of coronavirus and recorded deaths today I am 12 (yesterday there were 25), which bring the total number of victims to 127,768. The total swabs performed are 208,419 and the positivity rate is 0.6%.
