Milan, 9 July (Adnkronos) – On Saturday 10 July, by order of the prefecture of Milan, railway circulation between the Milan Lambrate and Pioltello stations on the Milan-Brescia-Verona and Milan-Bergamo lines will be suspended from 10 am to 2 pm. “The measure is necessary to allow the defusing and removal of war remnants, found near the railway site in the municipality of Segrate”, reads the note from RFI.
The regional, suburban and planned trains running on the Milan-Pioltello-Treviglio-Bergamo / Brescia line and the long-distance line on the Milan-Brescia-Verona-Venice line will undergo changes, cancellations and substitutions with bus service. The scheduled time for the end of the activities may be anticipated or postponed, based on the effective completion of the intervention. “More information on the RFI website, on the digital channels of the railway companies or from customer assistance staff and ticket offices”.
