Movable and immovable assets worth over 3.5 million euros were kidnapped by financiers of the Provincial Command of Rome to a family of entrepreneurs of Capena, accused of having “piloted” the bankruptcy of a trucking company. The provision, on the orders of the judiciary, originates from the investigations delegated to the third Metropolitan Operational Unit of Rome following the declaration of bankruptcy of the company.
The assessments of the Yellow Flames have made it possible to discover how some members of the family have carried out numerous operations aimed at the depletion of assets, in favor of other legal entities indirectly connected to them, then making the accounting records disappear in order to hinder investigations. Among the assets seized are vineyards with an area of 15 square kilometers, 2 warehouses, a 16-meter yacht, a road fuel distribution plant and a car wash. Last year the suspects had suffered the seizure of a deposit used for the storage of smuggled petroleum products.
The provision, issued by investigating judge of the Court of Tivoli at the request of the local Public Prosecutor’s Office, it originates following the declaration of bankruptcy of the company. The investigations revealed that family members had diverted funds to other companies related to them, then making the accounting records disappear in order to hinder the investigation. As mentioned Last year the suspects had undergone the seizure of a deposit used for the storage of smuggled petroleum products. The operation is part of the broader device put in place by the Rome Finance Police to protect the legal economy. The blitz of the Finance on the orders of the investigating judge was necessary to prevent the evidence from being polluted. Once the investigators became aware of the “trick”, they asked for and obtained the seizure order from the investigating judge.
