Quiet Time it is a modality “do not disturb” for the doorbell: when active, inside the house the classic sound will not be reproduced (which, on the other hand, it will be possible to listen to abroad), you will not be disturbed by Google Assistant and the app will just send you a notification to alert you that someone has knocked on the door. Quick Responses instead it allows you to set up audio messages to be played by the doorbell, in case it is not possible to go directly to the door of the house.
These functions, which can be activated for the moment, are from the Nest app, will also soon arrive on the Google Home app, which continues to confirm itself as a real hub for managing all home automation without going through external software.
