A Frecciarossa will connect Milan and Sapri (Salerno) every weekend until the end of September. This was announced by the Campania region on Thursday 8 July. The first race will take place tomorrow (Friday 9 July), the last on 26 September.
In all the weekends of July, August and September it will therefore be possible to reach the localities of Cilento more easily, passing through Naples. The stops scheduled in Cilento are at the stations of Agropoli, Pisciotta, Centola-Palinuro and Sapri.
The service is active on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for a total of 72 round trips. The Campania Region supported the initiative with an expense of 200 thousand euros; investment that “fits into the broader framework of development of mobility policies at the service of the tourism sector for the enhancement of Campania”, reads a note issued by De Luca’s team.
