Milan, shop opening hours will return to normal tomorrow

Stop the quota for Covid, there are fewer people on public transport vehicles

Milan, 7 July (askanews) – The opening hours of offices and shops in Milan are back to normal. The municipal administration, in agreement with the Prefecture, has decided to suspend, starting from tomorrow, Thursday 8 July, the provision by which in these months of health emergency the hours of commercial activities and offices have been diversified to allow the return to pupils’ school and safe access to local public transport.

The suspension of the provision is made possible after the closure of the schools which has significantly reduced the influx of users on the public transport network. And it also takes into account the increase to 80% of the capacity on public transport, in force in the white zone. The provision has immediate effect and will remain in force until the reopening of educational institutions, of all types and levels, when there will be the probable return 100% in the presence in schools and 50% in universities.
