From Italy to Slovenia, Luca Di Iacovo of the Rari Master won a Hadria Trophy from Pesaro

Luca Di Iacovo from Pesaro is the winner of the first edition of the Hadria Trophy, a stage competition in open water swimming from Italy to Slovenia. The competition included three stages starting from Trieste and arriving in Piran. Luca Di lacovo (left in the photo) athlete of the Rari Master Pesaro managed to obtain the final victory in the Magellano circuit by winning two stages out of three and a second place in the Sistiana stage.

The event, unique of its kind, has obtained the patronage of the European Parliament, and represents a strengthening of the collaboration and cooperation between Italy and Slovenia also in the sports field, reaffirming the idea of ​​a United Europe across the sea that embraces our continent. Over 50 athletes took part in the event, including Edoardo Stochino, athlete of the Italian Gran Fondo national team, who won the Hadria Top circuit. The season for the Pesaro-based athlete Luca Di Lacovo will continue with the participation in the Italian swimming championships scheduled in Pesaro on 11 July and then on 25 July in Civitavecchia for the Italian open water championships.
