Two young Moroccan girls are missing in the countryside of San Giuliano Milanese, at the gates of the Lombard capital. On the morning of Friday 2 July the carabinieri received a phone call in which a girl, in Arabic, explained that she was in a corn exchange, where she and a friend of hers would be hit by a combine harvester. She also added that her friend has passed away while she is seriously injured.
But then the phone call was interrupted abruptly, before the carabinieri could geo-locate it: this means that the mobile phone has turned off or has been turned off by someone. Immediate investigations by the carabinieri and searches, which also involve civil protection and firefighters: for now, however, no news, also because the campaigns are very extensive and there is no point of reference. According to what the Corriere della Sera, the two missing women have 28 and 32 respectively: both Moroccan, one would have precedents.
According to the scenario outlined by the He would run, perhaps the girls were lying in the fields and might not have noticed the arrival of an agricultural vehicle, which would have overwhelmed them. If so, then the driver would have run away without sounding the alarm. But there are many other possible hypotheses, also because the fact that the phone call to 112 was suddenly interrupted and that the cell phone was then turned off leaves several shadows.
