The schools of Fashion training system platform are preparing to return to the spotlight of Fashion graduate Italia 2021 | Come up!. The seventh edition of the event promoted by the association will be staged in the spaces of the Base in Milan from 24 to 27 October with a phygital format. Four days of fashion shows, exhibitions, talks, masterclasses, workshops and job placements with the best graduating students and undergraduates of Italian academies and institutes in the sector as protagonists, including Marangoni Institute, Ied e Naba. Main partner is Record, but the appointment is also supported by the media partners MF Fashion, Next Generation Platform – Campus Orienta e Yes Milano, as well as from Lineapelle e Cna Federmoda Lombardia.
The event is presented in a new hybrid form, both physical and digital, enriched by a storytelling on life and experiences within fashion schools. The contents in presence will be streamed on the portal of the event and on the platform of Artsthread, to reach an ever wider audience also at an international level. There will also be new digital content produced by the students of the participating schools, including the social project The making of the Fashion graduate Italia 2021 | Come up !, which will be unveiled to the public from early September until 23 October. Finally, the final event, phygital edition, includes 16 fashion shows to show the students’ collections. “The 2021 edition is renewed with a more current look, showing the excellence of the Italian education system to all Italian and international students who want to enter this fascinating and at the same time demanding world”, declared Donato Medici, president of the fashion training system platform.
The initiative received the patronage of the Department of Labor Policies, Productive Activities, Commerce, Fashion and Design of the Municipality of Milan. «With this initiative we are launching a further sign of unity in the Italian fashion system after the forced stop. In addition to moments dedicated to portfolio review and a Job speed date day promoted with Confindustria moda e Human, a hub dedicated to the portfolios of the best graduates of the associated schools will also be activated on the Fashion graduate Italia website.
