Less than a day ago, the DOOM Eternal next-generation console upgrade was published, which allows you to make the most of the power of PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series X|S in order to improve the graphic rendering or to add effects like Ray Tracing. For Sony users, however, things did not go in the best way.
Update July 1st – Bethesda and id Software are aware of the problems encountered in Europe and Australia with the DOOM Eternal update for PS5, the company is working to solve, soon it will be possible to upgrade without problems.
As is often the case on PlayStation 5, the hours following the debut of the update were problematic and many were unable to upgrade the first person shooter for free. Fortunately Bethesda immediately rushed to the shelter and during the evening everything was solved by publishing a product on the PlayStation Store to redeem to receive the update. But that’s not all, as after downloading and installing the new version of DOOM Eternal, players have discovered that there is no way to transfer between editions. campaign progress, which must therefore be restarted from scratch unlike what happens on the Xbox version, which uses the same save file for all versions.
