From Tuesday 6 April, the Veneto, the Marche and the Autonomous Province of Trento will pass from the red zone to the orange one, based on an order signed by the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza. Calabria, Campania, Emilia-Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Lombardy, Piedmont, Puglia, Tuscany and Valle d’Aosta will remain in the red zone for at least 15 days, says a second order signed by Speranza.

In addition to Veneto, Marche and the Autonomous Province of Trento, the other regions that will be in the orange zone are Sicily, Sardinia, Liguria, Lazio, Umbria, Abruzzo, Molise, Basilicata and the Province of Bolzano. No region will be in the yellow or white zone: according to the decree approved by the government at the beginning of April, in fact, the same measures as for the orange zone apply until 30 April also for the regions in the yellow zone.

The new restrictions will apply starting from 6 April, because on Easter holidays – that is Saturday 3, Sunday 4 and Monday 5 April – all regions are considered in the red zone.
